Tampa will host the Red Bull Dance Your Style National Final for the first time on Sept. 19, bringing 16 street dancers together for a 1-on-1 competition and a chance to represent the USA at the Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final in Zurich, Switzerland, on Oct. 24.
The competition will feature dancers battling to surprise tracks selected live, using freestyle moves to interpret the music. An audience will vote for their favorite dancers, determining who advances through the competition.
Red Bull Dance Your Style launched in 2018, marking the eighth year of the international street dance competition.
The event will take place at the Tampa Convention Center, where the 16 dancers will compete in a 1v1 all-styles bracket with live audience voting.
The event begins at 6:30 p.m., with tickets available for purchase online. The lineup includes hosts K-Sole and Myverse, DJ Hans and dancers Kidd The Monster, King Havoc, Marlee Hightower, JREAMZ, Lily Frias, Fantaye, Noahlot, Caho, Janiya Jaggers, Passion, Jesse Sykes, Una, Rylee Prodigy, Surge, KiiLo and Harini. Special guest Omarion will also appear.
There is no cash prize for the competition. However, the U.S. national winner will advance to the World Final in Zurich for the chance to earn global recognition and the Red Bull Dance Your Style title.
The event is open to all ages, with tickets starting at $21.
