How our features work
Most of what Certified Florida publishes is editorial: stories our team chooses to cover. Some stories are paid features, and we mark them so you can tell which is which.
Paid features
A paid feature is a story a local business pays Certified Florida to publish about it. Our team produces it in the same style as the rest of the site, which is why it carries a label.
Paid features carry the word Advertisement above the headline. In search listings and link previews, the story’s title starts with “Ad”. At the end of the story, a short note names the business it was made with.
Presented by
When a business pays to support a guide or a series and has no say over what we write, the piece is credited “Presented by” that business instead.
