Who we are
Certified Florida is a family of regional publications owned by Reimagine Media Group and operated by Pathway Connection Solutions. Both entities are organized in the State of Florida. These terms are an agreement between you and those entities (together, “we”).
Mailing address: 6156 8th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL. Questions: contact@certifiedfl.com.
Acceptance
By browsing the site, submitting a form, subscribing to a newsletter, or purchasing a Featured Partner placement, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you’re acting for a business, you confirm you’re authorized to bind that business.
What the service is
We publish local stories, guides, maps, and social content about Florida businesses and places, and we sell clearly-labeled promotional placements (“Featured Partner” spots and similar products) to businesses that want to be spotlighted to our audience.
- Editorial coverage is not for sale.Being covered in a story or appearing on a coverage map doesn’t cost anything and can’t be bought; paid placements are labeled as such.
- Appearing here isn’t an endorsement guarantee. We choose editorial subjects independently and may update or remove coverage at our discretion.
- Businesses can opt out.If your business appears in our coverage or on our maps and you’d rather it didn’t, email us and we’ll remove it.
Paid placements & billing
- Pricing, scheduling, and what’s included are presented at checkout; the checkout page is the authoritative description of what you’re buying.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We don’t store card numbers.
- Featured placements are scheduled into weekly slots. Your feature week is shown before you pay; production starts after payment and onboarding.
- You provide the business details, photos, and approvals we ask for during onboarding. Delays in providing them can shift your scheduled week.
- If we can’t deliver a purchased placement, we’ll make it right — reschedule or refund. For anything billing-related, email contact@certifiedfl.com.
Content you give us
When you send us photos, logos, copy, or business details for a feature (or through any form), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use them to produce and publish your feature across our publications and social channels, and you confirm you have the rights to share them. You keep ownership of your materials.
Our content
The stories, photography, designs, and everything else we publish belong to us or our licensors. Personal, non-commercial sharing with attribution is welcome; republishing, scraping, or reselling our content requires written permission.
Acceptable use
- Don’t misrepresent who you are or the business you speak for.
- Don’t submit content you don’t have rights to.
- Don’t probe, overload, or interfere with the site or its security.
- Don’t use the site to spam or harvest data about others.
Disclaimers
The site and our content are provided “as is.” Hours, menus, prices, and event details change fast in local business — we work to keep coverage accurate but can’t guarantee every detail, and nothing we publish is professional advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim connected to the site or a placement is capped at the amount you paid us for the placement giving rise to the claim (or $100 if you haven’t paid us anything).
Termination
You can stop using the site anytime; newsletter unsubscribe links work immediately. We may suspend or refuse service that violates these terms. Sections that by their nature survive (content licenses, disclaimers, liability caps) survive.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Florida law. Disputes belong in the state or federal courts covering Pinellas County, Florida.
Changes
We’ll update this page when the terms change in any meaningful way; the “Effective” date above reflects the most recent version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
