Data Deletion

How deletion works

If you’ve interacted with Certified Florida through Facebook or Instagram (for example by messaging one of our pages), you can have that data deleted two ways:

  1. Automatically through Meta. In your Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites, remove the Certified Florida app and choose to send a data-deletion request. Meta notifies us, we delete what we hold, and you get a confirmation code with a status link back to this page.
  2. By email. Send contact@certifiedfl.com a note with the subject line “Data deletion request” from the account you want removed (or describe it — e.g. your Instagram handle). We aim to acknowledge within 5 business days and complete within 30.

What gets deleted

Direct-message conversations with our pages and the contact signals extracted from them. Details on everything we collect and how long we keep it are in the Privacy Policy. Records we’re legally required to keep (like invoices for paid placements) are retained for the legally required period.
