Holiday cheer is in the air and in the water as The Florida Aquarium brings Christmas festivities throughout the aquarium.
From Nov. 27 through Jan. 3, guests can walk through a winter wonderland featuring Christmas trees, interactive entertainment and photo opportunities with Santa while enjoying time with the animals.
Festivities will include underwater costume divers, opportunities to meet costumed characters, craft-making and up-close encounters with the aquarium’s animal ambassadors.
“The holiday season is a time when families come together and create memories that become traditions for years to come,” said Katherine Hardwick, vice president of marketing and communications at The Florida Aquarium, in a press release. “We want Christmas Tidings to be a place where families can experience the magic of the season, enjoy something unexpected, and make memories that families will look forward to year after year.”
The aquarium will also host a special Christmas Tidings Day of Discovery on Dec. 13 from 8 to 9 a.m. for children with sensory differences.
Christmas festivities are included with general admission to The Florida Aquarium.
