Tampa’s Winter Village Returns Nov. 20 With Ice Skating and Holiday Events

Tampa’s Winter Village is a month away, and Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park is preparing to bring holiday cheer and winter activities to downtown Tampa for another season. This year’s event will feature weekly programming and special events throughout the season.

From Nov. 20 through Jan. 3, 2027, the Tampa Riverwalk will transform into a winter destination featuring ice skating, shopping and activities for all ages.

“Winter Village is a celebration of what makes Tampa’s Downtown special: our community, our local businesses and the public spaces that bring us together,” said Kenyetta Hairston-Bridges, president and CEO of the Tampa Downtown Partnership, in a press release. “Each year, Winter Village creates opportunities for residents and visitors to connect, support local businesses and make lasting holiday memories. We’re proud to continue this tradition and create a welcoming, vibrant Downtown experience for everyone to enjoy.”

Weekly events

Winter Village will offer recurring programming throughout the season, including:

• College Nights: On Thursdays from 5 to 9 p.m., students with a valid student ID can receive $2 off skate rentals.
• Saturday entertainment: Live performances, holiday music and other special entertainment will take place from 7 to 8 p.m.
• Character visits: Seasonal characters will visit on select Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m.
• Silent Disco: Silent disco events will take place throughout the week.
• Ice shows: Performances will be held on select dates throughout the season.
