Taste of the Beaches, a nine-day dining event covering 50 restaurants from St. Pete Beach to Indian Rocks, opens Oct. 3 on a $10-per-restaurant model: one ticket buys that spot's signature dish or combo, redeemed during normal operating hours — no centralized grounds, no festival footprint.
"There's no festival ground to find, which is the whole idea — the stretch of beach is the venue," per the event's Instagram. Participants move between locations at their own pace over the nine-day window, which closes Oct. 11.
Tickets are available through the Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber and at several beach businesses along the corridor.
The opening is preceded by a free kickoff party. On Oct. 2, from 6 to 9 p.m., Horan Park on St. Pete Beach hosts an outdoor event with live music from Big Brother Band. No ticket is required for the Oct. 2 gathering; the $10 restaurant component activates the following morning.
A portion of ticket proceeds benefits Habitat for Humanity Tampa Bay Gulfside, per the event's Instagram. The announcement did not specify a target figure; the total will be determined by ticket volume across all 50 locations through Oct. 11.
