Tape B headlines both nights of Tapesgiving, a two-day bass music event at the BayCare Sound in Clearwater on November 27 and 28 — the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving. According to the event's Instagram, it marks the first time the amphitheater has booked consecutive nights.
The producer grew up in Boca Raton after his family immigrated from Istanbul and assembled the Tape B project out of his UCF bedroom. His sets draw from the dubstep records he grew up on while incorporating modern bass production, a combination he carries across both headlining slots at Tapesgiving.
The lineups are split by night. Friday's card features EAZYBAKED and Distinct Motive in a back-to-back set alongside Space Wizard and Claybrook. Saturday brings G Jones, Moody Good, and Dr. Ushuu to the same stage. Both nights start at 6 p.m., with tickets handled through Ruth Eckerd Hall.
The Thanksgiving holiday window gives the event a natural audience: concertgoers in or near Clearwater for the long weekend looking for something beyond the standard holiday calendar. Two nights rather than one extends the footprint across the weekend rather than concentrating demand into a single date.
The consecutive-night booking is the structural detail worth tracking. Holding an amphitheater for back-to-back evenings requires the venue to commit its production and operational infrastructure across two nights — a model that makes sense only when the event can sustain draw on both dates. Tape B's origin — built out of a UCF bedroom by a producer raised in South Florida — connects to the regional circuit from which larger Florida amphitheater dates are often drawn. His Istanbul-to-Boca-to-Orlando trajectory grounds the project in a way that travels well in a Florida room.
With Thanksgiving weekend timing and the two-night format now on the BayCare Sound's calendar, the question heading into fall is whether Tapesgiving returns as an annual fixture — and whether this run serves as a proof of concept for future consecutive-night programming at the venue.
