The Tampa Convention Center (TCC) has been nominated for the 2026 ConventionSouth Readers’ Choice Award for the second consecutive year.
The award recognizes convention centers, hotels and other meeting venues across 16 Southern states and Washington, D.C. for their services, professionalism and amenities.
Voting is open through Oct. 4 at midnight. The venues receiving the most votes will be featured in ConventionSouth’s December 2026 Annual Awards issue.
TCC won the Readers’ Choice Award in 2025 and was also named one of ConventionSouth’s Best of the Best convention centers that year.
“Our team, including our service partners, works tirelessly to provide world-class experiences for every event organizer and attendee,” David Ingram, executive director of the TCC, said in a press release. “Being nominated again is a huge honor, and we encourage our clients and community to show their support and help us bring home this title for a second year in a row.”
The nomination comes after TCC received several other recognitions this year, including the Venue Excellence Award, Stella Awards, Smart Stars Award and Tampa’s Best.
Located along the Tampa Riverwalk, TCC said it hosts more than 100 events annually and generates an estimated $147 million in economic impact.
ConventionSouth, which has been covering the meetings and events industry since 1983, provides information on destinations, venues, trends, news and people shaping the industry.
Other Tampa Bay venues and organizations nominated for the 2026 award include Tampa Airport Marriott, Tampa Marriott Water Street, The Don CeSar, Visit Tampa Bay, Visit St. Pete/Clearwater and Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach.
