The Tampa Bay Ice Cream Festival returns to the St. Pete Pier's Family Park on Sunday, July 19, running 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. with free admission and more than 30 vendors. The third annual edition is the largest slate of vendors the event has announced, per the organizer's Instagram.
Competitors will be judged across three categories — hard ice cream, soft serve, and non-dairy — with champions named in each. A People's Choice vote runs alongside the formal judging, giving attendees a direct role in determining one of the day's awards.
The event returns to the Pier's Family Park, the same outdoor venue used in prior editions along downtown St. Pete's waterfront. Admission is free; no ticket purchase or RSVP link accompanied the organizer's announcement.
Now in its third year at the Pier, the festival has settled into a mid-July slot at one of St. Pete's higher-traffic public spaces. Vendor lineup specifics and competition results are expected on the day of the event.
