Storm, the Tampa energy-drink shop that launched in 2020, is expanding across the bay. The brand announced via Instagram that a fourth location is planned for 4th Street in St. Petersburg — its first move outside Tampa — with no specific address or opening date confirmed.
Storm built its concept around caffeine sourced from green tea, yerba mate, or coffee in place of the artificial colors and heavy sugar that define most commercial energy cans. The electrolyte drink line runs between 2 and 8 grams of sugar per serving. Protein shakes carry 25 grams of protein. The menu also covers smoothie bowls and electrolyte powders, addressing the pre-workout and recovery categories without locking the brand into a single product format.
Three Tampa shops anchor the current footprint. Named locations include South MacDill Avenue and West Kennedy Boulevard; the brand's Instagram does not specify the third Tampa address. A St. Pete location would bring the total to four and mark Storm's first shop on the peninsula side of the bay.
4th Street runs as one of St. Petersburg's primary commercial corridors, threading through residential and retail neighborhoods across the city. The brand has not named a landlord, signed a public lease, or filed a permit — the announcement is limited to an Instagram caption and the hashtag #4thstreet.
