Ralph Lauren opened at 1609 W Snow Ave in Hyde Park Village on July 28, bringing the brand's Women's Collection, Men's Purple Label, and Polo Ralph Lauren lines to Tampa.
The store's interior is nautically themed, drawing on the yachts and sailboats moored at marinas near the West Snow Avenue corridor. The design palette runs to warm cherry wood, brass hardware, and light maple floors. A vintage 35-foot racing scull from Ralph Lauren's own collection hangs from the ceiling — the room's organizing focal point and a physical tie to the brand's longstanding connection to sailing and sport.
The three lines at 1609 W Snow Ave cover different tiers of the brand's portfolio. Men's Purple Label sits at the top of the Ralph Lauren men's range; Women's Collection and Polo Ralph Lauren extend the store's reach across categories and price points.
The opening follows a run of upscale tenant arrivals at Hyde Park Village. LoveShackFancy, Hill House Home, and Rifle Paper Co each signed before Ralph Lauren, and the brand's West Snow Avenue door now joins them as part of the Village's recent cluster of nationally recognized boutique retail. Ralph Lauren is the most prominent nameplate yet in the sequence.
The store is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 6 p.m.
Whether additional signings follow in the same tier — premium fashion and home — will determine how durable the repositioning at Hyde Park Village turns out to be.
