Keel Farms is hosting a 21-and-up prom on Thursday, Aug. 28, from 6 to 10 p.m. at 5202 Thonotosassa Rd. in Plant City. Valid ID is required at the door. Tickets cover admission and a dinner buffet that opens at 6:30 p.m. and runs while supplies last, with wine, cider, and other drinks available for purchase separately.
The night's prom royalty is community-selected. Per Keel Farms' Instagram, nominations closed Aug. 18; voting opens Aug. 20 and runs through Aug. 27, one day before the event. Anyone can nominate a friend, neighbor, or family member for the crown.
The farm built a spirit week around the event, running Aug. 24 through 28. Each day carries a dress theme: pajamas on Monday, animal print on Tuesday, wacky Wednesday, cowboys versus aliens on Thursday, and flashback Friday on the night of the prom itself. Attendees are asked to dress to impress and wear shoes suited for dancing.
