Graze is taking over 5232 S. MacDill Ave. in Ballast Point — the address most recently occupied by Arirang Korean Restaurant — for its third Tampa location. The scratch-made diner, which debuted inside the Armature Works food hall in Tampa Heights in 2018, will serve brunch, lunch, and dinner seven days a week with no reservations. No opening date has been confirmed; the operator's Instagram says the team is aiming to open before the end of 2026.
The brand was started by a former managing partner of Daily Eats, the South Tampa all-day diner that closed earlier this year and has since reopened as Meeting House. That lineage is the key context for Graze's positioning: the concept launched at Armature Works in 2018, establishing itself in a food-hall setting with access to the Tampa Heights mixed-use audience, then proved the format in a standalone storefront on South Dale Mabry, across from Plant High School. S. MacDill would be the third location, extending the brand further south along the corridor.
Arirang Korean Restaurant's exit from the address marks a shift in what that particular storefront offers the surrounding neighborhood. Arirang represented a sit-down Korean dining option; Graze's model is built on walk-in accessibility across three dayparts, seven days a week. No-reservation service lowers the friction further, which suits a residential neighborhood that generates steady daily traffic without a concentrated dining district to capture it.
