The 5K route runs along the Tampa Riverwalk before participants return to the Heights venue for a post-run party that has become the defining feature of the series.
Per the operator's Instagram, the event is free to attend, with early registrants eligible for a free Nike t-shirt while supplies last. The post-run programming includes a live DJ, drinks, and Chill Bros. ice cream at the finish line — the St. Pete-based soft-serve brand that has become a recurring presence at Tampa Bay community events.
The 1,500-runner projection, if it holds, would represent a notable turnout for an independently organized club run in Tampa Bay. Run clubs have grown as a social format across the market over the past two years, with groups using central venues like Armature Works — the 2019-opened food hall and event space at 1910 N. Olin Ave. in the Heights district — to anchor both the athletic and social halves of the event.
