Quality Foods Restaurant Group opens the country's first co-branded Buffalo Wild Wings Go and Jimmy John's on Aug. 18 at 5241 69th St. E in Palmetto, a Manatee County city roughly 45 minutes south of St. Pete. Both chains fall under the Inspire Brands portfolio, and the store is structured around a single entrance leading into a shared dining room where customers can order off either brand's menu. Each concept runs its own kitchen behind the counter, and Jimmy John's operates its own drive-thru lane.
The Buffalo Wild Wings component is BWW Go, the counter-service spinoff of the full-format chain. BWW Go centers on the brand's sauce lineup and a counter ordering model rather than the sports-bar floor plan of a traditional Buffalo Wild Wings, running closer to fast casual than to a game-day room. That distinction shapes the Palmetto location's identity: this is a throughput-focused unit oriented around convenience, not a neighborhood anchor built around broadcast sports.
Quality Foods already operates three Buffalo Wild Wings in Florida, giving the group established familiarity with one side of the operation before taking on a dual-concept footprint. The franchise group has characterized the arrangement as eliminating the need to choose between the two chains — a single-stop decision for customers who might otherwise make two separate visits.
The Palmetto store is a genuine national first for the pairing. No co-branded BWW Go and Jimmy John's has opened anywhere before Aug. 18, per the operator. For Inspire Brands — which owns both chains alongside Arby's, Sonic, and Dunkin' — the Palmetto location is where the dual-format model begins generating real operational data: whether a shared dining room with separate kitchens and a single drive-thru can hold up under the throughput demands of two distinct fast-casual concepts running simultaneously.
