Bern's Steakhouse and The Blind Goat are running a one-week wing collaboration at 4106 Henderson Boulevard in South Tampa, September 6 through 12. The wings are dry-rubbed in the spice blend Bern's uses on its onion rings, served alongside Black Truffle Ranch from Larceny BBQ. They go first come, first served until they run out each day.
The ranch connects to Chad Johnson, who worked at SideBern's and Haven before becoming executive chef at Bern's. In 2021, after a smoker was stolen from his kitchen, he started Larceny BBQ as a barbecue pop-up. The Black Truffle Ranch on these wings comes from that operation — placing Bern's spice work alongside a product Johnson developed independently.
The program runs walk-in only. No reservations, no fixed quantities — the wings are available at The Blind Goat's Henderson Boulevard location for seven days, and the first-come, first-served structure means the practical window each day is shorter than the calendar dates suggest.
The collab closes September 12. Larceny BBQ's role here — supplying Black Truffle Ranch for a week-long run alongside Bern's — keeps Johnson's pop-up visible in the market. Whether this week leads to anything further between the three parties isn't addressed in the announcement.
