Mezzo Market and the Tampa Bay Lightning are teaming up to bring vintage clothing and a preseason celebration to Benchmark Arena on Sept. 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

At Thunder Alley, the one-day market will focus on vintage finds while celebrating the upcoming seasons for both the Lightning and Mezzo Market.

The event will feature more than 40 vendors, drinks, food, a DJ, interactive games and more. Vendors such as jpaulvintage will offer a variety of vintage T-shirts, while Proppy will bring its collection of Tampa vintage artifacts.

The event is free to the public and family- and pet-friendly. Pasko & Co. will also be in attendance with Lightning apparel for people and their furry friends. The company has announced a Tampa Hockey collection that will be available at the market.

A full list of vendors can be found on Mezzo Market’s social media.

Parking is available through ParkMobile zones around Benchmark Arena on Morgan Street, Cumberland Avenue and surrounding streets.

The vintage market will kick off the Tampa Bay Lightning’s weeklong celebration leading up to its home opener on Oct. 3. The celebration will include events throughout the week.

Mezzo Market will celebrate its sixth season with its season opener in downtown St. Petersburg, featuring more than 175 small-business vendors, along with music and food vendors.

“Mezzo Market is about so much more than shopping — it’s a celebration of community, creativity, culture and everything that makes our city special,” said Mezzo Market Co-Director Michelle Doucet.

Tampa Bay residents can find the latest information about upcoming Mezzo Market events on the market’s social media.

This weekend’s vintage market will bring together Tampa Bay’s vintage community, local vendors and Lightning fans ahead of the team’s upcoming season.
