Frankie's Pizza Parlor opened its full restaurant and bar on Aug. 28, completing a Gulf Boulevard concept the Luce team had been quietly running as a walk-up window since Fourth of July weekend.
The window format gave the operation an early foothold: slices were available from the street before the interior was complete. Since Aug. 28, the full room has been open — checkered tablecloths, eighteen TVs, and arcade games, with fresh pasta made in house daily.
The Luce team built Frankie's from scratch on Gulf Boulevard in St. Pete Beach, on a parcel next door to the hotel that operated for decades as the Postcard Inn. That property closed following Hurricane Helene and has since reopened; Frankie's represents the Luce team's food-and-beverage extension alongside that revival.
The programming — a walk-up window, a full bar, arcade games, and eighteen screens — positions Frankie's to serve both the year-round Gulf Boulevard residential corridor and the seasonal beach trade without committing entirely to either. Whether the walk-up window continues as a permanent fixture alongside full table service hasn't been confirmed by the operator.
Frankie's is now open on Gulf Boulevard. The Luce team's choice to build from scratch on a parcel tied to a recently reopened hotel is the move to watch as the strip absorbs the longer tail of the post-Helene recovery.
