Tampa Bay residents will have a new flight option to the Dominican Republic next summer as Breeze Airways launches nonstop service to Santo Domingo from Tampa International Airport (TPA).
The airline will begin operating the route June 18, 2027, with flights twice a week on Fridays and Mondays. This will be the first time Breeze offers year-round service to Santo Domingo.
“What a thrill it has been to watch Breeze's rapid growth at TPA,” TPA Director of Air Service Development Alex Heiter said in a press release. “By adding another international nonstop flight, the airline continues to increase its commitment to TPA and will soon offer Tampa Bay travelers another easy way to reach the Dominican Republic.”
Santo Domingo will be Breeze’s sixth international destination from TPA and its second destination in the Dominican Republic. The airline launched nonstop service to Punta Cana in July 2026.
Flights from Tampa to Santo Domingo will depart at 10:30 a.m. and arrive at 1:25 p.m. Return flights will depart Santo Domingo at 2:25 p.m. and arrive in Tampa at 5:30 p.m.
Although flights won't begin until next summer, tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at Breeze Airways.
