The program at Riverside Wharf is considerably larger than The Wharf's original footprint. The development as described includes a 167-room Dream Hotel, a rooftop pool dayclub, a 30,000-square-foot nightclub, multiple restaurants and event spaces, a private megayacht marina, and an expanded version of The Wharf Miami — the outdoor bar concept that built an audience along the river before closing three years ago.
The Dream Hotel flag matters here. The brand operates lifestyle-oriented properties with integrated nightlife and F&B programs, which suggests Riverside Wharf is being structured as a full-stack hospitality destination rather than a venue complex with a hotel appended. The 167 rooms are modest by Miami resort standards, but the surrounding program — led by a nightclub larger than most dedicated club buildings in the city — extends the draw well beyond overnight guests.
The original Wharf Miami occupied a stretch of the Miami River that rarely competed with South Beach or Brickell for nightlife dollars. Its appeal was built on the premise of a more casual, outdoor alternative to the city's larger entertainment circuits. An expanded iteration, per the operator's framing, places that concept inside a development that adds megayacht docking, rooftop programming, and a major club — a considerably different proposition than what closed in 2023.
