Zebra Club, a late-night supper club pairing chef Michelle Bernstein with bartender Naren Young, is targeting a September opening at 150 20th Street in South Beach. The venue takes the underground room beneath the Townhouse Hotel — the same space that previously housed the Bond Street Lounge.
Announced through the operator's Instagram, the concept positions champagne and martinis as the cocktail anchor, with Young overseeing that program. Bernstein leads the kitchen; the announcement does not detail menu scope or format beyond the supper club designation.
The Bond Street Lounge's prior run in the space gives the address an existing nightlife identity for Zebra Club to inherit. The operator describes the new concept as polished and underground — a framing that leans into the venue's subterranean character rather than softening it.
The champagne-and-martinis designation gives Young's bar program a specific identity from the start, distinct from a broad cocktail offering. The pairing of a named chef with a named bar operator as co-leads distinguishes Zebra Club from a standard restaurant or lounge opening, and signals that the concept is built around both programs in equal measure.
With September as the stated target, confirmed details on reservations, menu, and pricing have not yet been released. The opening will mark a new operator chapter for a South Beach address with an established underground run — and the first time Bernstein and Young have been announced together under a single roof.
