Palma House Sessions is launching a monthly house music series at Palm Garden Event House in Fort Lauderdale, with its first edition on Saturday, September 12. The night runs seven hours — 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. — with four DJs across house, deep house, and tech house, spread across the venue's courtyard, main room, and rooftop bar.
The series is co-presented with Tap 42 Fort Lauderdale. Per the organizers' Instagram, the concept centers on what they describe as a "mansion-style setting" — intended, in their framing, as a more intimate experience within Palm Garden's multi-room footprint.
Three distinct spaces and a seven-hour window give the format room to move across environments, with four DJs splitting the program through house, deep house, and tech house. The configuration — courtyard, main room, rooftop bar — allows for different sonic contexts within the same event without requiring guests to leave the property.
Billed as a monthly series, September 12 is the first edition. Whether Palma House Sessions builds a consistent audience in the Fort Lauderdale market will be clearer after a few editions have run.
