Odd Sox has opened ODDMART in Wynwood, a free pop-up built around a single reversal: every item on the shelves looks like a snack but contains socks. Per the operator's Instagram, Cheez-It boxes, Pringles cans, candy bags, and cereal containers have all been restocked with Odd Sox product, turning a staged convenience-store environment into a brand installation where the packaging is the punchline.
The operator describes the experience as immersive. In addition to the stocked shelving, the space includes oversized installations expanding on the snack-and-sock premise, exclusive merchandise, and dedicated photo setups throughout. A live DJ runs on-site daily from noon to 8 p.m. Admission is free.
Wynwood has served as a consistent host for brand activations and time-limited retail concepts from national consumer labels — the neighborhood's foot density, photogenic infrastructure, and audience familiarity with short-run formats make it a practical landing point. ODDMART fits that pattern: daily programming and exclusive merchandise create repeat-visit incentives, while the July 19 closing date puts a hard ceiling on the window.
No extended run or additional market dates beyond the current Wynwood installation have been announced by the operator.
