The chain has expanded across the U.S. with a format built around speed, repetition, and suburban commercial corridors.
The unit design is immediately recognizable: shipping containers finished in the brand's signature bright orange, arranged for walk-up ordering, drive-thru service, and outdoor seating. The menu runs short by design — cheeseburger sliders, crinkle-cut fries, hand-spun shakes, and queso — a lineup built for consistency at volume rather than breadth.
Landry developed Smalls as a counterpart to Walk-On's, his sports-bar chain, operating on a different unit economics model: fast-casual, drive-thru-forward, and built for rapid site deployment through the shipping-container format.
