Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant, the chain founded by Tim McEnery in 2005, is opening a location at 1750 S. Federal Highway in Delray Beach, according to an announcement on the operator's Instagram. The incoming tenant will bring a full-service restaurant, outdoor patio, Napa-style tasting room, retail wine market, and a dedicated Wine Club lounge — the full Cooper's Hawk format — under one roof.
McEnery opened the first Cooper's Hawk in Orland Park, Illinois. The brand has since grown to more than 70 locations nationwide. Its wine club, which the company describes on Instagram as one of the largest in the United States, enrolls hundreds of thousands of members who receive monthly wine allocations, access to tasting events, dining rewards, and member-exclusive programming. That recurring membership base is the structural core of the concept: it converts wine subscribers into repeat restaurant guests before a location opens its doors.
The Delray site at 1750 S. Federal Highway places Cooper's Hawk along a corridor that has drawn consistent national chain interest. The prior tenant at the address was not identified in the operator's announcement. The Wine Club lounge — a members-only component featured at Cooper's Hawk's newer locations — adds a tiered layer to the footprint, offering a distinct in-house experience beyond the main dining room and tasting bar. The retail market component allows direct wine purchases, extending revenue beyond the meal.
No opening date has been confirmed in the operator's announcement. Given the winery production infrastructure Cooper's Hawk incorporates into its build-outs, a construction and permitting timeline for the Delray location will likely surface through Palm Beach County filings in the months ahead.
